i shot closer to home today. this view of the ortigas business district in pasig city was taken all the way from a country club in quezon city. the high density of giant buildings was in direct contrast to the sprawling greenery that can be seen just by turning around.
Still on Lamps...

I stumbled upon this lovely lamp on design milk. Created by Linda Allen for
her Live.Anywhere line, the lamp promises just that: live anywhere with it.

That's quite a zoom! I just checked a map to see how far the two locations were from each other. I like the juxtaposition of the city's towers against the quiet green of the country club.
ReplyDelete@jonathan: its amazing what technology allows us to see. the spot where i took this photo from was one of my favorites because it gives me a great vista of the ortigas skyline. im obsessed with skylines and the zooms in todays cameras leave me breathless!
ReplyDeletethe country club is amazing too because it is one place in the city where you can get some quiet away from the frenzy. i like getting my coffee from the coffee bean & tea leaf there too from time to time
Two different worlds. How incredible to be able to have them both! I share the same advantage in Manhattan, and it is priceless.
ReplyDeleteBlue.
Fantastic juxtaposition, Pia! I share the same fascination about the extreme differences we have in Manila, and I don't mean just the skyline.
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting and leaving comments while my husband and I were away. We just got back early this afternoon. Thank you for the greeting too! I really, really appreciate it!
