Since it is so convenient, i find myself jetting off to Boracay every time i get fed up with city life. Well, that's just an excuse, really. I'd justify lounging out in the sun with anything, anytime. :-)

Every year, the University of the Philippines holds its annual fair around February. everyone who's gone to UP has a ridiculously hilarious or adventurous story to tell of the UP Fair. In all the nine years i went to UP for both college and law school, i have been to the fair only once. Sad isn't it?

Out and About

Manila has a vibrant nightlife and when going out, I love stopping by M Cafe at the Ayala Museum in Makati. They make a mean dalandan (a local citrus fruit that's tangier than oranges) martini. Love!

Azotea

Malate Church

a few steps from one of manila's vibrant bar district is the Malate Church. built in the 16th century, the baroque-styled church sits facing the fabulous sunset of Manila bay. my youngest brother was christened at this very church in 1985. 

Finding Their Way Out

I found this group of tourists seriously trying to figure their way out of Temple Street in Hong Kong. After taking this shot, i took pity and helped them find their way back to Nathan Road.

Big Time

i recently went on a two-day photo tour of hongkong. this is the Kowloon-Canton Railway Clock Tower. originally built in 1915, the old monument is now surrounded by modern buildings and bustling crowds that flock to the Harbour City Mall or the Tsim Sha Tsui Waterfront for a spectacular view of Hongkong Island.
